How should shade sails be maintained?

Care instructions: The shade sail can be machine washed at 30°C or hand washed with standard detergent. The lifespan of the shade sail varies depending on exposure and weather conditions. Any dirt on the shade sail, such as dead leaves, should be removed immediately to prevent deposits from accumulating and becoming ingrained.

The shade sail, treated with acrylic on both sides, is weather-resistant and water-pressure-resistant (70 hPa). It provides pleasant shade and optimal sun protection thanks to an index of 80 (UV Standard 801).

Care instructions:
The sail can be washed by hand, but we do not recommend washing it in the washing machine. The service life of the sun sail varies depending on the load and environmental influences. Dirt, such as falling leaves, should be removed immediately to prevent the formation of deposits that can become stuck.

Winter care instructions:
We recommend removing the shade sail during the winter months and storing it in a dry place once it is completely dry. Snow loads can damage the shade sail.

Care instructions for uncoated models:

With uncoated gazebos, discolouration of the sun sail may occur over time at the contact points. To avoid this, we recommend coating the uncoated pavilion with clear varnish as soon as the desired patina look has been achieved.
